Late leaving,Pricey Camping and Bye, Bye Transmission

We were a little late leaving Arkansas! We went through Missouri and drove through Greensburg Kansas the town was devestated by a storm earleir this year. We decided to stop and check the town out becuase, we heard they are going totally green with their rebuilding. We took a few pics and left. We couldn’t find anyone to chat with about the devistation or rebuild. So we headed for Colarodo. 

We are finding it hard to find free or fair campgrounds. Also, not finding thing’s to do that are low cost  activities. One can only hike so much. So if  you are reading this (Well, obviously you are reading this) and you know of anything fun to do around the Boulder, Co. area. to add a bit of excitement to our trip and doesn’t require many $’s. Give us a shout. Let us know where and when.

The KOA we stayed at first night was great. Sorry, I can’t tell you right were that is. I’ll look at my notes and add later. Then their was the (Colarodo Springs, Co.) Garden of the Gods campground. It was a nice place! But, the tents sites are to close together. They have on their website that they have several Pet station’s in the campground. However,what it doesn’t tell you is that all you do there is get plastic bags for Poop pick-up. And the tents are so close your dog can’t even be tied to a long leash for some freedom. Poor Stevey and Bree .  The cost was $36 a night for a tent and $40 for RV with all the eminities. But, we had to stay cause the tranny in the Jeep was gone.

We have taken many pictures of the wild in the rockies. But, the process is slow when transfering data.
